Business overview

 

-For FY 2010 ended July 2010, Worldwide sales of On-Road Products were $81.9 million, an increase of 13.8 percent from $72.0 million in the prior year.

-On-Road Products sales in the United States increased 3.4 percent from the prior year, primarily as a result of a slight market share improvement and higher content per truck. The Company performed better than the impact due to the change in truck build rates for the year in Class 8 truck builds, which decreased by 3.7 percent and medium duty truck build rates which increased 0.3 percent.

-International On-Road Products sales increased 25.2 percent from the prior year, driven by increased sales in Asia of 45.2 percent, as a result of increased truck exports by the Company’s Japanese OEM Customers to higher growth emerging markets, and rebounding sales in Europe during the second half of the fiscal year.

 

Contracts
-The Company announced that Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) has selected Donaldson PowerCore(R) G2 air filters for their 2010 Freightliner Coronado heavy duty trucks. The PowerCore G2 filtration technology offers size reduction - 60 percent smaller than conventional cellulose filters and 30 percent smaller than Donaldson PowerCore filters. -The Company has been recognized as a "Best in Class" Premium Supplier by the Volvo Group for 2009. (From a press release on August 19, 2010)
