บริษัท ฮุนไดมอเตอร์ (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด เซ็นสัญญา โปรเจกต์ “EV Sharing+” ภายใต้โครงการ “Thammasat Smart City” ของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ สนับสนุนรถยนต์ฮุนได ไอออนิค อิเล็กทริค จำนวน 2 คัน เพื่อเป็นรถใช้งานสำหรับผู้บริหารและคณะอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ที่ลงทะเบียนใช้งาน่านแอปพลิเคชั่น “HAUPCAR” โดยมีจุดจอดรถของโครงการ 2 จุด ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ และมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ รังสิต โครงการนี้จะเริ่มขึ้นในช่วงเดือนมิถุนายน 2562 เป็นต้นไป การเซ็นสัญญาโปรเจกต์ “EV Sharing+” ครั้งนี้เป็นไปตามเจตนารมณ์ของบริษัทพันธมิตรที่จะได้มีส่วนร่วมในการช่วยลดการใช้พลังงานโดยเฉพาะในสถาบันการศึกษา อีกทั้งยังสามารถต่อยอดไปในภาคส่วนอื่นๆ

               Changan Ford Automobile Co., Ford Motor Co.’s car joint venture, was ordered to pay a fine of 163 million yuan ($23.6 million) by China’s market regulator for manipulating retail prices for its dealers in the southwest China municipality of Chongqing.  Changan Ford has been controlling retail prices since 2013 for dealers in Chongqing by signing pricing agreements with them and setting price floors for their vehicles sold at local auto shows and online, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation said Wednesday. Such actions violate China’s anti-monopoly law, the market watchdog added. Changan Ford said in a statement Wednesday that it respects the ruling.The ruling deals another blow to the company, which continues to suffer steep sales declines this year. Changan Ford, headquartered in Chongqing, is a 50-50 partnership between Ford and with Changan Automobile Co. It produces and markets sedans and crossovers for the Ford brand. For the first four months of this year, deliveries of Changan Ford nosedived 69 percent year on year to 51,597, according to Changan, a state-owned Chinese automaker listed on the Shenzhen stock exchange. In 2018, the joint venture’s sales slumped 54 percent to 377,739.

BMW said it will develop its next-generation electric motors, transmission and power electronics with Jaguar Land Rover, unveiling yet another industry alliance designed to lower the costs of developing electric cars."Together, we have the opportunity to cater more effectively for customer needs by shortening development time and bringing vehicles and state-of-the-art technologies more rapidly to market," BMW Group R&D boss Klaus Froehlich said in a statement.BMW aims to have 12 full-electric models by 2025. Currently the BMW brand's sole battery-powered model is the i3 hatchback.BMW and Jaguar Land Rover said they will save costs through shared development, production planning and joint purchasing.Both companies will produce electric drivetrains in their own manufacturing facilities, BMW said.Nick Rogers, Jaguar Land Rover's engineering director said: "We've proven we can build world beating electric cars but now we need to scale the technology to support the next generation of Jaguar and Land Rover products."

บีเอ็มดับเบิลยูได้กล่าวว่าจะพัฒนามอเตอร์ไฟฟ้ารุ่นใหม่ๆ ชุดเกียร์และไฟฟ้ากำลังกับจากัวร์แลนด์โรเวอร์ ซึ่งเปิดตัวเป็นอีกพันธมิตรในอุตสาหกรรมที่มุ่งลดต้นทุนในการพัฒนารถยนต์ไฟฟ้าในความร่วมมือกันนั้นพวกเรามีโอกาสในการตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยการลดระยะเวลาในการพัฒนาและการนำเทคโนโลยีที่ล้ำสมัย เข้าสู่ตลาดได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ดังที่ทีมวิจัยและพัฒนาของบีเอ็มดับเบิลยูได้กล่าวในคำแถลงบีเอ็มดับเบิลยูมีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะมี 12 โมเดลที่ใช้ไฟฟ้าอย่างเต็มรูปแบบภายในปีคศ.2015 ซึ่งปัจจุบันรูปแบบการใช้งานที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยไฟฟ้าจากแบตเตอรี่มีเพียงรุ่นเดียว คือ BMW i3 ทรง hatchbackบีเอ็มดับเบิลยูและจากัวร์แลนด์โรเวอร์กล่าวว่าพวกเราจะช่วยกันลดค่าใช้จ่ายโดยการร่วมกันพัฒนา วางแผนการผลิต และระบบการจัดซื้อโดยส่วนกลางซึ่งทั้ง 2 บริษัทจะร่วมกันผลิตระบบขับเคลื่อนทางไฟฟ้าในโรงงานผลิตของตน บีเอ็มดับเบิลยูกล่าวนิก โรเจอร์ ผู้อำนวยการของแลนด์โรเจอร์เอนจิเนียริ่งกล่าวว่า เราสามารถสร้างโลกที่เต็มไปด้วยรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าแต่เรายังคงต้องการเพิ่มเทคโนโลยีเพื่อรองรับผลิตภัณฑ์ของจากัวร์แลนด์โรเวอร์ในรุ่นต่อๆไป
