Brussels, 26 September 2018 – New commercial vehicle registrations increased both in July and August 2018 (+2.3% and +7.3% respectively), marking the fifth consecutive month of growth. All segments performed well during the summer months. The major EU markets saw strong demand in August: Spain (+18.0%), France (+13.3%) and Germany (+11.7%) posted double-digit increases, although the United Kingdom (+2.4%) and Italy (+1.7%) showed more modest growth.
